Carmel convent school is named after a holy mountain "Carmel" situated in north palestine Where prophet Elijah challenged the Bal idol worshipers (1st.king:18).
In 1115 the Carmelite order was born under the patronage of mother Mary.Thus the name of Carmel has become the symbol of an ancient christian's traditon. A precious treasure preserved by God given grace to Bl.Francisco Palau y Qyer the founder of Carmelite Missionaries congragation whose members are involed in education,medical care, social welfare and spiritual develpoment of humankind in about 11 countries.Thus we are team dedicted persons belonging to the Catholic Church and witnessing the life and teaching of Jesus Christ
